These guidelines establish a practical and proportionate approach to corporate social responsibility at JIL. They encourage responsible business conduct, thoughtful engagement with communities and the integration of relevant social and environmental considerations into business activities.
These guidelines apply to CSR initiatives proposed, funded, coordinated or delivered by JIL. They do not imply that any specific programme, donation, partnership or community outcome has been undertaken unless supporting records establish it.

CSR proposals should state the intended purpose, target beneficiaries, proposed activities, estimated cost, responsible person and anticipated outputs. Management approval should be obtained before commitments are made. Records should be retained proportionately, including approvals, expenditure records, partner details, delivery evidence and outcome information where available.
Public statements about CSR initiatives must reflect activities actually undertaken and outcomes supported by evidence. Photographs, testimonials, personal stories and identifying details should only be used with appropriate permission and safeguards.
These guidelines will be reviewed at least annually to ensure that CSR activities remain relevant, responsible and aligned with JIL’s business priorities.
